Agnieszka Brissey is a member of the Board of Directors of the Józef Piłsudski Institute of America in New York for the last 12 years. Since joining the Institute in 2006 she was interested in the Silesian Uprisings, contributing her historical knowledge to the digital portal of the Uprisings.
She has been in charge of digitization of the ''Silesian Uprisings 1919 - 1921'', maintaining the program of the Internet Volunteer, coordinating the work of the volunteers transcribing the archives, verifying and updating their results and maintaining the portal.
Agnieszka holds B.A. in International Relations from The Academy of International Relations and American Studies and B.A. in International Relations and History from The City.
