The head of Patria Fidelis, the organisers of this annual event, expressed his disappointment that this event could not take place this issues.
"We have always been proud to commemorate those Poles that died fighting with the Allies.
We are keen that this can continue in the future as it is an expression of community unity standing alongside our British friends.
"Many Poles are concerned that this is just another example of increased tension since Brexit was announced publicly.
"Decisions like this give rise to division in our community" one told Tomasz Wisniewski. "ABS will work tirelessly to promote unity and cooperation" he said.
